What We Are Looking For

Under the general supervision of the Manager, Hardware Services, performs complex professional work with computer hardware, software, and network systems. Installs and supports KeyStone servers including Unix/Linux operating systems and applications software. Installs and supports personal computers, and network operations; provides hardware and software planning and evaluation; provides problem solving and training for end users; and ensures systems efficiency and integrity. Provides research and support for new technologies to be used in the client environment.

Requirements

· Provides preliminary support for the KeyStone server installation process, which includes planning, implementing, and troubleshooting network and system hardware and software, and virtualized environments (IBM or VMWare).

· Participates in KeyStone server special projects including server replacements, migrations, and server moves. Contributing input to the planning and implementation phases.

· Supports internal staff and clients on implementing and troubleshooting PC hardware, software, and peripheral products, server access methods, encryption and Certificates and VPN connectivity as related to KeyStone.

· Creates and maintains departmental process and policy documentation, using Atlassian and Microsoft products.

· Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Three years to five years of similar or related experience.


Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience is desired
