Guidewire ClaimCenter Configuration Developer

Skills:

·         5+ Years of SDLC and Java EE experience with and 3+ Years of GW ClaimCenter Configuration experience

·         Hands on GW Implementation Proficiency and Experience in GW Configuration Development - Expertise configuring and developing several areas of ClaimCenter including but not limited to – Policy/Policy Snapshots, LOB configuration, Service Handling, ClaimCenter Financials including deductible handling, Salvage and Subrogation, Segmentation and Assignment, Vendor Management, Legal Matters, Catastrophes, Incidents and Exposures, SIU, Claims Archiving, Claim Performance Monitoring, Team Management and ClaimCenter Administration

·         Robust understanding of ClaimCenter DataModel

·         Experience in GW Configuration Development (Expertise in GOSU, LOB Configuration, Rules Engine, Data Model, PCF, Wizards, Workflow and Activity)

·         Experience with XML, GUnit, Jenkins, GIT/Subversion/TFS, Code Coverage and Code Scan Plugin/Tools

·         Experience with Application Servers like WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss and/or Tomcat

·         Experience with Database Servers like SQL Server, Oracle, and/or DB2

·         Good communication skills

·         Insurance Industry and Domain Knowledge

Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities:

·         Work closely with Leads to understand and identify issues with configuration design.

·         Assist, Prepare/Enhance Estimates and Proof of concepts for configuration user stories

·         Prepare/Enhance Detailed Design Documentation (Field Mapping, Data Model definitions, Rules Definition etc) as needed to support Configuration development

·         Build/Develop GW Configuration Components (Using GOSU, LOB Configuration, Rules Engine, Data Model, PCF, Wizards, Workflow and Activity)

·         Deliver assigned user stories, unit tests on time and at the highest code quality.

·         Unit and Functional Test developed Configuration Solutions using GUnit, Mockito – Automated and Manual.

·         Debug and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Education:

·         Bachelors/master’s in computer science engineering 

·         Guidewire ClaimCenter Training/Certification a must
