Growth Marketing Lead (Shopify, Product Launch, Paid Traffic)

Role Summary

NCL (Natural Cure Labs) is hiring a D2C Growth Lead to own our Shopify channel end to end: conversion, funnels, offers, paid traffic, and the D2C side of every product launch. This is a senior, high-ownership role. You inherit a working channel from a 5-year operator and are expected to run it, then grow it. You report directly to the CEO.

What makes this role different: we are launching 5–6 new products across 2026, and the D2C launch machine is yours to build. You will design tripwire funnels, upsell paths, and launch offers, and you are expected to use AI and automation daily to operate like a team of three. What's hard about it: small team, no playbook handed to you, and full accountability for a revenue number. If you want a role where someone else sets the strategy, this is not it.

Core Responsibilities

1. Shopify Channel Ownership

•     Own D2C revenue: conversion rate, AOV, and customer lifetime value

•     Continuously optimize UX/UI, page speed, product page structure and messaging, offers, and landing pages

•     Own the upsell stack (One Click Upsell), subscriptions, and loyalty/rewards programs

•     Run a disciplined A/B testing program: hypothesis, test, ship, document

2. Funnels & Offers

•     Design and build tripwire funnels, post-purchase upsell paths, and landing page funnels

•     Construct compelling offers (bundles, bonuses, guarantees) in the direct-response tradition; familiarity with Hormozi's Grand Slam Offer and Brunson's funnel frameworks is a strong plus

•     Keep every funnel compliant: no disease claims, supplement-appropriate language

3. Paid Traffic

•     Own paid acquisition strategy across Google, Meta, and TikTok, hands-on or through agencies you manage

•     Review results with a profit-first lens: CAC, contribution margin, and payback, not vanity metrics

•     Align paid with organic, email, and affiliate so channels compound instead of compete

4. Product Launch Execution (D2C)

•     Partner with our Product Manager (who owns launch strategy and timelines) to execute the D2C side of every launch

•     Build the launch funnel for each new product: landing page, offer stack, upsell path, and coordination of email (Klaviyo) and creative with the team

•     Every launch ships with its D2C funnel live on day one; you own that standard

5. Marketplace Expansion (after 90 days)

•     Take ownership of Amazon (currently unowned) once Shopify is stable

•     Evaluate secondary channels (eBay, Walmart, Target) with a business case

6. AI & Automation

•     Use AI tools daily for analysis, copy drafting, creative iteration, and reporting

•     Automate your own reporting and repetitive workflows (we run Claude Code, n8n internally)

Success Metrics (What Winning Looks Like)

•     Full ownership of the Shopify channel within 60 days with zero revenue drop during transition

•     Shopify conversion rate improved by 50% within 12 months

•     Every 2026 product launch ships with a complete, live D2C funnel on launch day

•     At least one new tripwire or upsell funnel tested per month, with documented results

•     Amazon channel ownership taken on by day 90

•     Weekly channel report delivered without being chased; CEO involvement in D2C execution reduced by 5+ hours/week

•     5+ years in D2C e-commerce growth, with 3+ years hands-on Shopify

•     AI-native: you already work with ChatGPT/Claude and automation tools daily

•     Proven traffic and conversion experience you can show with numbers

•     Built and shipped funnels: tripwires, post-purchase upsells, landing page sequences

•     Ran or directly managed profitable paid acquisition (Google, Meta, or TikTok)

•     Analytical and data-literate: GA4, Shopify analytics, cohort and margin thinking

•     High ownership, low ego, execution-focused

•     Bonus: supplements or regulated-category experience (compliance-aware copy)

•     Bonus: experience managing or mentoring junior marketers
