We are seeking a creative and strategic Part-Time Social Media Manager to support the growth of a travel advisory business specializing in group travel, corporate retreats, wedding room blocks, and luxury travel experiences. This role is ideal for someone who can transform existing marketing assets into engaging social media content, develop a strong online presence, and help position the business as a trusted expert within its niche.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and experienced in creating content that drives engagement and brand awareness across LinkedIn and Instagram. And someone who enjoys helping businesses grow and can take ownership of content planning and execution.
Scope of Work:
Social Media Strategy
- Develop and execute a social media strategy focused on:
- Group travel
- Corporate retreats
- Wedding room blocks
- Luxury travel
- Create a monthly content calendar with planned posts and campaigns.
- Research current social media trends, viral content, and effective engagement strategies.
Content Creation & Management
- Create engaging social media content for:
- Design graphics, carousel posts, and other visual content using provided marketing materials.
- Write compelling captions, hooks, and calls-to-action.
- Schedule and publish content consistently.
- Repurpose existing travel marketing assets to align with the client's niche and branding.
Brand & Marketing Support
- Utilize the client's Google Drive resources, sales guides, certifications, and marketing assets.
- Tailor existing travel agency content specifically toward the client's target market rather than general travel promotions.
- Help establish a consistent brand voice and online presence.
Collaboration
- Attend a weekly check-in meeting with the client.
- Recommend content ideas and improvements based on platform performance and trends.

Qualifications:
Required
- Proven experience managing business social media accounts.
- Strong content writing and copywriting skills.
- Experience creating engaging Instagram and LinkedIn content.
- Ability to build content calendars and execute social media strategies.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Creative mindset with an understanding of social media trends and audience engagement.

Shift & Hours:
- Part-Time: Starting with a minimum of 10 hours per week; flexible shift
- With weekly virtual meetings required.
- Client is located in the Pacific Time Zone (PT). Weekly meetings should be scheduled at a mutually convenient time.
