We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join the Brand Team. This mid-level design role (4+ years of experience) will create high-quality creative across digital, print, event, web, and internal channels while helping elevate the Ellucian brand through thoughtful, strategic design. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to develop compelling visual solutions, creative campaigns, and support key company initiatives.
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in visual communication, branding, and storytelling, and can independently manage projects from concept through execution. They should be highly proficient in design tools, comfortable collaborating across teams, and experienced using AI tools to enhance workflows and accelerate ideation while maintaining high design standards.
Where You Will Make an Impact
Creative Development: Design and produce on-brand visual assets for campaigns, events, social media, presentations, email, web, and internal communications that align with business objectives and brand standards.
Campaign & Event Design: Support the development of integrated campaign creative and event experiences, including promotional materials, signage, and digital assets.
Brand Stewardship: Apply and uphold Ellucian brand standards across all creative deliverables while helping evolve and strengthen visual consistency across channels.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, communications, web, solutions marketing, and internal stakeholders to translate business goals into compelling creative solutions.
Presentation Design: Create and enhance executive presentations, PowerPoint templates, and other business communications that are visually engaging and impactful.
Digital & Web Support: Design landing pages, web assets, and digital experiences that support conversion goals while incorporating user experience best practices.
AI-Enhanced Workflows: Utilize AI-powered creative tools to support ideation, concept exploration, content generation, image creation, and production efficiencies while maintaining quality and brand integrity.
Asset Management: Organize and maintain design files, templates, brand assets, and creative resources to support team efficiency and scalability.
Vendor & Production Coordination: Collaborate with print vendors, production partners, and internal teams to ensure high-quality execution of creative deliverables.
What You Will Bring
Experience: 4+ years of professional graphic design experience in-house, agency, or equivalent environments.
Design Expertise: Strong skills in typography, layout, color theory, visual hierarchy, branding, web design principles, and creative problem-solving.
Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word), Figma, and Canva.
AI Experience: Use AI-powered creative tools such as Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, Midjourney, or similar tools to support design workflows and creative development.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present creative concepts and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships across the organization.
Creative Storytelling: Demonstrated ability to create visually compelling content that communicates complex ideas clearly and effectively across multiple formats.
