Global Head of Shared Services

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Position Summary

The Global Head of Shared Services is a senior executive responsible for leading and transforming Conduent’s global shared services organization, including Procurement and regional country leadership across the Philippines, India, EMEA, and Latin America.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is critical to advancing Conduent’s strategy by driving operational excellence, scalability, and margin improvement across a global delivery footprint. The leader will architect and execute a modern, globally integrated shared services model that enhances efficiency, strengthens governance, and supports Conduent’s mission to deliver mission-critical services and outcomes for clients at scale. 

This executive will serve as a key member of the leadership team, partnering across Finance, HR, Technology, Legal, and business units to optimize global operations, accelerate transformation, and elevate service delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute a global shared services and operating model strategy aligned with Conduent’s transformation agenda
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive leadership on global delivery, cost optimization, and organizational effectiveness
  • Lead the evolution toward a Global Business Services (GBS) model that drives scale, standardization, and value creation

 

Global Shared Services Delivery

  • Oversee end-to-end shared services operations across Procurement and country-led delivery organizations
  • Drive standardization, centralization, and optimization of processes across regions
  • Establish and monitor performance through KPIs, SLAs, and global governance frameworks

 

Procurement Oversight

  • Provide executive leadership to Global Sourcing & Procurement, ensuring alignment to enterprise financial and operational goals
  • Drive value through strategic sourcing, supplier management, cost efficiency, and risk mitigation 
  • Ensure strong governance, policy adherence, and disciplined spend management across the enterprise 

 

Regional & Country Leadership

  • Lead senior country leaders across Philippines, India, EMEA, and Latin America
  • Ensure alignment of regional operations with global strategy, standards, and performance expectations
  • Balance global consistency with local market, regulatory, and client delivery requirements
  • Drive accountability for operational performance, service quality, and financial outcomes across all regions

 

Operational Excellence & Transformation

  • Lead large-scale transformation initiatives including process reengineering, automation, and digital enablement
  • Expand use of data, analytics, and shared platforms to improve decision-making and operational visibility
  • Champion Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement disciplines to drive efficiency and quality

 

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Establish robust governance frameworks across shared services and procurement
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls 
  • Oversee enterprise risk management related to supply chain, service delivery, and global operations

 

Financial Leadership

  • Deliver significant cost savings, productivity gains, and enterprise value creation
  • Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
  • Manage large-scale global operations with clear accountability for financial performance

 

Leadership & Culture

  • Build and lead a high-performing global leadership team, including country heads and functional leaders
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and client-centricity consistent with Conduent values
  • Develop succession pipelines and strengthen leadership capability across global operations

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership in shared services, global operations, procurement, or BPO environments
  • Proven experience leading multi-region, large-scale global organizations 
  • Demonstrated success building or transforming global business services/shared services models
  • Deep expertise in procurement, operations, and global delivery models
  • Strong financial acumen with a track record of driving margin improvement and cost optimization
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence at CEO, Board, and senior leadership levels

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $300,000 - $400,000 plus incentive compensation.
