Key Responsibilities
Training & Learning
- Participate in structured technical training programs on electrical engineering systems, power distribution, motor controls, and electrical design practices.
- Learn industry-standard electrical engineering tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, and similar electrical design software.
- Understand project workflows, engineering standards, and quality requirements.
- Learn electrical design principles related to industrial facilities, treatment plants, and process industries.
- Support the preparation of engineering documents such as Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), cable schedules, load lists, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
Project Support
- Assist senior engineers in developing electrical designs and project documentation.
- Support the preparation and review of electrical drawings and design deliverables.
- Participate in electrical panel design activities, including component selection and bill of materials (BOM) preparation.
- Learn to read and interpret electrical schematics, equipment data sheets, and layout drawings.
- Support testing and validation activities related to electrical systems and panels.
- Assist during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning activities under supervision.
Electrical Engineering
- Assist in the design and implementation of low-voltage power distribution systems.
- Gain exposure to transformers, switchgear, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and power monitoring systems.
- Support cable sizing, cable routing, earthing, lighting, and power distribution design activities.
- Learn electrical protection concepts and basic coordination principles.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical systems and resolving technical issues under guidance.
- Support compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with process, mechanical, instrumentation, and project teams to understand complete system integration.
- Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and technical discussions with global engineering teams.
- Maintain project documentation, reports, and engineering records.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities within the team.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering (2026 or recent pass-out).
- Basic understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, including power systems, electrical machines, and motor control circuits.
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and electrical panel architecture.
- Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems and power distribution concepts.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and engineering practices.
- Good communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning.
Good to Have
- Internship or academic project experience in electrical design, power systems, industrial electrical engineering, or related fields.
