The Role
As a Product Manager for our Shopify Apps, you will take end-to-end responsibility for our product portfolio. You will bridge the gap between user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility, ensuring our apps deliver measurable value to thousands of merchants.
Your Responsibilities
- Lifecycle Management | Guide features from initial idea and discovery through specification to launch and post-launch optimization.
- Backlog & Prioritization | Independently maintain and prioritize app backlogs using frameworks like RICE to manage resources effectively.
- User Discovery | Validate user problems via interviews, friction analysis, and heatmaps to drive product decisions.
- Technical Specification | Create "dev-ready" tickets with precise user stories and clear acceptance criteria for our engineering team.
- Impact Measurement | Define KPI baselines and conduct post-launch evaluations to ensure data-driven iterations.
- Roadmap Strategy | Actively shape the product roadmap, managing epics, dependencies, and justified prioritization decisions.
Your Profile
- Experience | 3–5 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years as a PM or PO holding independent product responsibility.
- Analytics | Strong proficiency in tools like PostHog, Mixpanel, or Tableau to measure impact and formulate hypotheses.
- Methodology | Expert at structured prioritization and managing "dev-ready" documentation in Jira or Asana.
- Communication | Professional fluency in German (C1/C2) and English (B2) is required.
- Industry Knowledge | Experience with Shopify or SaaS environments is a significant plus.
Salary & Benefits
- €54,000 – €60,000 fixed base salary, plus a performance-based bonus of up to €7,000 per year.
- Fully remote work is possible after completion of your onboarding.
- Please note: Onboarding involves 2 days on-site at our Berlin office.
