AI Summary

Serve as the global legal leader for X-Rite, Pantone, and Esko, overseeing commercial, regulatory, and IP matters. Provide strategic regional legal leadership across all Veralto segments in EMEA to ensure governance and risk management.

The General Counsel for X‑Rite, Pantone, and Esko serves as the primary global legal leader for Veralto’s software, color management, and product workflow businesses. This role is responsible for shaping and executing the global legal strategy for these three innovation‑driven OpCos (local business units known as operating companies), overseeing all aspects of commercial, regulatory, product, technology, IP, and compliance matters.

In addition, the role provides strategic regional legal leadership across all Veralto segments in EMEA, ensuring that the region operates with strong governance, consistent legal standards, and forward‑looking risk management. The regional work is senior, strategic, and influence‑based — not tactical day‑to‑day execution. This role will have a dotted line leadership role driving a one legal culture for the legal, compliance and regulatory professionals within the region.

Success in the role is defined first and foremost by impactful, high‑quality global legal support to X‑Rite, Pantone, and Esko, while simultaneously elevating regional legal maturity and alignment across Veralto’s operations in EMEA.

This position is part of the Veralto Legal organization and is located remotely in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the legal advisor globally for X‑Rite, Pantone, and Esko, shaping legal strategy for complex hardware, software, SaaS, digital workflow, and color‑management product portfolios.
  • Partner closely with OpCo Presidents and global Legal team leadership to influence strategic decisions on product development, technology commercialization, market expansion, and innovation.
  • Accelerate growth in the software business by advising on product strategy, SaaS commercialization, digital workflow solutions, data and privacy readiness, and enabling legally sound expansion of Esko and Pantone/X‑Rite software offerings across global markets.
  • Support M&A activity across X‑Rite, Pantone, Esko, and Europe across OpCos, including due diligence, integration planning, risk assessment, and alignment of contracting and compliance frameworks to Veralto standards. Support global transactions, partnerships, integrations, and initiatives that drive growth and competitive advantage for the three brands.
  • Lead and Oversee OpCo commercial contracting, including negotiations with major enterprise customers, technology partners, suppliers, distributors, and strategic alliances.
  • Advise data privacy, cybersecurity, product‑regulatory requirements, IP strategy, licensing, channel frameworks, and global go‑to‑market models.
  • Serve as the escalation point for all legal matters across the three OpCos, ensuring consistency, disciplined risk management, and commercial clarity worldwide.
  • Embed a culture of risk‑aware decision‑making and accountability across OpCo leadership teams and Europe stakeholders.
  • Lead, manage and develop a talented group of OpCo focused legal and contracts professionals globally while driving a performance based and risk aware culture.

Strategic Legal Leadership Across Europe (All Veralto Segments)

  • Serve as the senior regional legal leader for Europe, providing strategic guidance to segment and regional Legal advisors and business leaders across all Veralto OpCos operating in Europe.
  • Shape and influence regional legal strategy to support commercial growth, operational resilience, and regulatory readiness in EMEA markets.
  • Provide thought‑leadership and senior‑level advisory on emerging regulatory trends and their implications for Veralto’s businesses in Europe.
  • Strengthen region‑wide governance by aligning EMEA leaders and OpCos with global legal standards, compliance expectations, and best‑practice frameworks.
  • Enhance cross‑segment consistency in risk management, policy alignment, and legal operating models — without direct tactical ownership of day‑to‑day activity. Drive associate engagement for the EMEA based legal teams

The essential requirements of the job include:
