Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Garage Underwriter to take ownership of our Garage book of business.

This is a hands-on underwriting role with responsibility for evaluating new and renewal business, making underwriting decisions, managing broker relationships, and helping grow the Garage portfolio.

What You'll Do

• Underwrite new and renewal Garage business within company guidelines and authority.
  
• Evaluate risk, pricing, coverage, loss history, and overall account quality.
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale brokers.
  
• Manage a book of business with a focus on profitable growth and retention.
  
• Communicate underwriting decisions and terms clearly and efficiently.
  
• Work closely with the internal team to keep business moving.
  
• Identify opportunities to improve underwriting processes and the Garage book.
  

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Garage underwriting experience strongly preferred.
  
• Commercial P&C underwriting experience.
  
• Strong risk evaluation and underwriting judgment.
  
• Experience working with wholesale brokers.
  
• Ability to manage a book of business and competing priorities.
  
• Self-directed, responsive, and comfortable making decisions.
  
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take ownership.
