Fundraising Support Temp (Remote in Tampa or Ft. Myers , FL)

Scope:

The purpose of the Fundraising Support Temp is to support our events in order to meet the fundraising objectives of March of Dimes. The position supports local staff to execute successful fundraising events like our annual walks (March for Babies) and special events (like Signature Chefs).  This position will support our internal staff and work with external donors, such as sponsors, fundraisers, donors and volunteers.

This is a part-time temporary position anticipated to start in October and end by December 15, 2026.

Responsibilities:

• Must be professional, energetic, positive, and able to provide excellent customer service via telephone and email communication.
• Use Teams and Outlook on personal computer.
• Eloquently present March of Dimes information (event, campaign, mission, etc.) to March for Babies participants across the country in markets as assigned.
• Share fundraising tips and ideas as provided to you by your March of Dimes partners with those you are calling and emailing with.
• Manage an excel document updating contact information and tracking call, email information as you go.
• Meet with March of Dimes manager on as-needed basis.

Qualifications:

• Have reliable cell phone to make calls and computer to watch online training videos and send email follow up communication
• Flexible work hours in afternoons/evenings
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook and Teams
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Fully remote position/up to 20 hours a week
