Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop, monitor, and implement innovative and goal-oriented return to work focused rehabilitation strategies for plan members.

  • Develop positive relationships through frequent communication and collaboration with plan sponsors, plan members, treatment providers and internal partners (i.e. case managers, mental health specialists, disability specialists) to drive cases to a successful return to work or job resolution ready. 

  • Vendor and budget management: ensuring the most effective and efficient treatments are available to our plan members.

  • Action daily administrative tasks which include responding to emails and telephone calls in a timely manner. 

  • Demonstrate resiliency, emotional intelligence and compassion when listening and communicating with plan members, including delivering difficult messages.

 

Qualifications

  • A post-secondary diploma, CEGEP (DEC or DEP) or bachelor’s degree in a healthcare program.  Preference will be given to those candidates with Health Sciences related education and direct experience in a rehabilitation setting.

  • Sound knowledge of Rehabilitation Industry Standards, disability insurance and medical terminology, and Disability and Rehabilitation management best practices.

  • Fully bilingual (French/English): The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Confirmed ability to make meaningful decisions efficiently and optimally under tight deadlines. 

  • Comfortable and skilled in handling both incoming and outgoing calls. 

  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills are critical for handling diverse tasks. 

  • A valid driver’s license as you may be required to travel to various locations.

Responsabilités du poste :

  • Élaborer, suivre et mettre en œuvre des stratégies de réadaptation novatrices et axées sur le retour au travail pour les participants.
  • Établir des relations positives grâce à une communication et une collaboration fréquentes avec les promoteurs de régime, les participants, les fournisseurs de soins et les partenaires internes (p. ex. gestionnaires de dossiers, spécialistes en santé mentale, spécialistes en invalidité) afin de favoriser un retour au travail réussi ou une résolution de dossier.
  • Gérer les fournisseurs et le budget en veillant à ce que les traitements les plus efficaces et efficients soient offerts aux participants.
  • Effectuer les tâches administratives quotidiennes, notamment répondre aux courriels et aux appels téléphoniques en temps opportun.
  • Faire preuve de résilience, d’intelligence émotionnelle et de compassion lors des échanges avec les participants, y compris lors de la transmission de messages difficiles.

Qualifications :

  • Diplôme d’études postsecondaires, CÉGEP (DEC ou DEP) ou baccalauréat dans un programme de soins de santé. Une préférence sera accordée aux candidats ayant une formation en sciences de la santé et une expérience directe en milieu de réadaptation.
  • Connaissance approfondie des normes de l’industrie de la réadaptation, de l’assurance invalidité, de la terminologie médicale ainsi que des pratiques exemplaires en gestion de l’invalidité et de la réadaptation.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et orale, avec un souci du détail et de la précision.
  • Capacité confirmée à prendre des décisions pertinentes de manière efficace et optimale dans des délais serrés.
  • À l’aise et compétent pour gérer les appels entrants et sortants.
  • Excellentes compétences organisationnelles et de priorisation, essentielles pour gérer des tâches variées.
  • Permis de conduire valide, car des déplacements à différents endroits peuvent être requis.

Salary range is expected to be between

$55,125.00 CAD - $91,875.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
