Full-Stack Engineer (Python/Rust) in Robotics

Reblade is a Danish tech startup founded in 2020, developing automated wind turbine blade repairs. We design and build drone-based robotic systems that utilize computer vision, sensors, and cloud software to deliver accurate and efficient operations and reporting workflows for some of the world’s largest wind energy operators.

We are looking for Full-Stack Engineer to join our team in order to design and integrate distributed software across cloud, edge and operator interfaces: data visualization and cross-system communication.

Areas of responsibility

• Frontend development and user interfaces: Build responsive, web-based interfaces for real-time telemetry monitoring and engineering data visualization. Use a modern frontend framework such as React with TypeScript (or an equivalent), integrating with backend APIs and streaming data sources.

• Backend services and APIs: Develop FastAPI (or equivalent) services and REST/gRPC APIs for cloud-edge communication, primarily in Python or Rust.

• Data management: Work with relational, time-series and NoSQL databases through appropriate frameworks and middleware for telemetry storage and management.

• Quality and testing: Implement unit and integration tests across frontend and backend layers, including API integration and data-flow validation.

• Documentation: Maintain UX wireframes, sequence diagrams and deployment guides.
  

Required skills and qualifications

• Practical experience building web UIs using React, TypeScript, or an equivalent modern frontend framework.

• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and real-time data streams, such as WebSockets or MQTT.

Beneficial

• Experience developing telemetry dashboards, engineering visualization tools, or interfaces for robotics, IoT, or embedded systems.

• Familiarity with MAVLink or ROS 2 web integration, such as rosbridge or roslibjs.

• Experience with time-series visualization and high-frequency data rendering.
