About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Front-End Engineer to join our Engineering team and help shape the future of IXOPAY's payment intelligence and orchestration platform.

In this role, you'll design and build modern, high-performance React applications that enable customers to analyze, optimize, and manage payment performance through intuitive dashboards, rich data visualizations, and AI-powered insights. You'll collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, and Data teams to deliver seamless user experiences that transform complex payment data into actionable business intelligence.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain modern React applications for our payment intelligence platform.

• Build scalable frontend architecture that supports new features, growth, and future integrations.

• Create intuitive dashboards and data visualizations that help customers understand and optimize payment performance.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, and Data teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.

• Integrate AI-powered features that provide intelligent insights, recommendations, and automation.

• Work with APIs and AWS services to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable applications.

• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code while participating in code reviews and technical discussions.

• Contribute to technical documentation and continuously improve engineering practices and frontend architecture.

• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies, AI capabilities, and industry best practices.

What You'll Bring

Required

• 5+ years of experience building modern frontend applications with React.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, React Hooks, and state management libraries such as Redux.

• Experience building data-rich applications, dashboards, or analytics platforms.

• Experience collaborating with backend engineers to design and integrate RESTful APIs.

• A solid understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive web development.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile environment.

Preferred

• Experience with AWS services such as Cognito, API Gateway, Lambda, S3, or CloudFront.

• Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as Recharts or D3.js.

• Experience integrating AI or machine learning capabilities into web applications.

• Previous experience in a startup or high-growth technology company.

Location

This is a remote-friendly position. We welcome applications from candidates based in Germany or Italy, with a preference for those located in or near Munich. You'll have the flexibility to work remotely or from our Munich office.
