ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Front End Developer will be responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture and ensuring the responsiveness of applications. You should be a team player with a knack for visual design and comfortable with development using agile methodology. Exposure to DevOps, test driven development is desirable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Architect and Design Client-side projects resulting in robust, scalable and resilient front-end
• Write efficient and performant code using Vue ( Vuex and Vue Router) and React ( Redux, React Router)
• Build Automation test cases using Cypress
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Support feature deployment through CI/CD pipeline
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Write technical documentation

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in Front-end technologies
• Extensive knowledge of Veu.js React.js JavaScript frameworks
• Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux
• Experience developing desktop and mobile applications. Familiarity with common stacks
• Familiarity with working in CI/CD development environment using Jenkins, Jira and BitBucket.
• Familiarity with databases (Postgres SQL), web servers, and UI/UX design
• Working experience of Swagger / Post Master
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
• Experience working on automation testing preferably using Cypress
• Experience working in DevOps and Agile environments. Preferably conversant with Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, Great attention to detail
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
• Familiarity with Capital Markets, Asset Management Domain will be an advantage
