Role Overview

Turn an interest in vacations, destinations, and customer service into a flexible remote opportunity. We are seeking proactive individuals to work as Freelance Travel Specialist, assisting clients with researching and organizing vacation experiences that match their interests, schedules, and budgets.

Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, you will help each client evaluate options and coordinate the vacation components that work best for them. Requests may include cruises, resort stays, all-inclusive packages, family trips, romantic getaways, group vacations, tours, celebrations, and international experiences.

Your Responsibilities

  • Receive and respond to client vacation inquiries
  • Determine client priorities, preferred destinations, dates, budget ranges, and special requests
  • Search available vacation products using approved online resources
  • Evaluate accommodations, resorts, cruises, transportation, tours, activities, and package combinations
  • Narrow down choices and prepare recommendations based on client criteria
  • Share relevant information about amenities, inclusions, policies, and available offers
  • Assist clients as they decide which vacation services best meet their needs
  • Coordinate chosen arrangements through approved supplier platforms
  • Prepare confirmation details and organize essential trip information
  • Keep track of deposits, final payments, documentation needs, and other important dates
  • Check reservation information carefully before and after confirmation
  • Stay in contact with clients regarding updates and outstanding planning items
  • Provide assistance with standard questions and reservation adjustments
  • Maintain accurate client and booking records
  • Keep current with destinations, supplier programs, promotions, and vacation products

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong customer communication and listening skills
  • Comfortable interacting with clients through phone, email, messaging, and virtual platforms
  • Good research and information-comparison abilities
  • Strong attention to accuracy and organization
  • Able to manage time, priorities, and follow-up independently
  • Resourceful when researching solutions for client requests
  • Comfortable working remotely with limited supervision
  • Basic computer and internet proficiency
  • Willing to learn reservation technology and supplier systems
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to continued learning
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must reside in the United States, United Kingdom, Spain, Australia, Mexico, or other qualifying countries
