The copywriter will create and localize SEO-driven content, landing pages, and performance marketing materials for the Spanish market. They are responsible for maintaining a consistent brand voice while ensuring all content is accurate, engaging, and optimized for conversion.
Clearly is looking for a Spanish-native Marketing and SEO copywriter to write and review everything a client sees: search content, website and landing pages, ads, and lifecycle emails. Some of it exists in English and needs rebuilding for a Spanish reader. The rest you write from briefs.
We supply the keywords, the brief and the goal for each piece. What we need from you is Spanish that sounds like it was written in Spain by someone who understands why a person is searching for a therapist at eleven at night.
What you will work on:
SEO content. Articles, guides, condition and therapy pages, glossary entries, written to a keyword brief and structured to rank. Long-form, researched, and accurate on a subject where accuracy matters.
Website and landing pages. Homepage, funnel, campaign and partner pages. Copy that moves someone from reading to booking a first session.
Localization of English source material. Rebuild existing English content for the Spanish market. This is transcreation and not translation: keep the intent, change whatever needs changing so it lands here.
Performance creative. Ad copy for Google and Meta: headlines, hooks, descriptions, and enough variants to test properly.
CRM and lifecycle. Emails, push notifications and in-app messages across onboarding, activation and win-back.
Consistency. Hold one voice across every surface, and flag it when a brief asks you to write something that contradicts what we've said elsewhere.
Working rhythm. Agree volume and deadlines with the Marketing Manager for Spain, deliver on them, and take editorial feedback without friction.
What we are looking for:
Native Spanish, written for a Spanish audience. We're looking for a writer, not a translator;
Proven experience writing about mental health: therapy, psychology, wellbeing or a closely related clinical field. You write about it with warmth and accuracy, and you know the difference between copy that helps someone take a first step and copy that overpromises, diagnoses or frightens them. Send us the work;
Proven experience writing marketing copy across several formats: SEO content, landing pages, ads and email;
Demonstrable SEO writing ability: you know how to work from a keyword brief, structure a page for search, and write headings and meta that serve both the reader and the crawler;
Strong conversion instincts. You understand that a landing page has a job, and you can explain the choices you made to do it;
Excellent English comprehension, enough to take an English original and rebuild it in Spanish without leaning on the source structure;
Reliability on volume and deadlines. Freelance here means agreed output at an agreed standard, delivered when you said it would be;
Comfort taking a brief and coming back with questions before you write, not after.
Nice to have
A background in psychology or training as a therapist, or experience working alongside clinicians on content;
Experience writing for a marketplace or subscription product;
Experience writing for Spanish speakers outside Spain, and the judgement to know when the copy needs to change;
Familiarity with SEO tooling (Ahrefs, Semrush, Search Console) and with publishing in a CMS.
