Are you a highly skilled Freelance Animator with a passion for creating strong, responsive character and gameplay animation?

We’re looking for an experienced animator to join us on an exciting game project, working closely with our art and development teams to bring characters, creatures and gameplay moments to life.

You should be comfortable working in a collaborative production environment, taking animation from early exploration through to polished in-game implementation, while being able to work independently and hit established quality benchmarks.

We only accept freelancers residing in Europe due to timezone differences and the way we work with remote talent.

Residency near or around the Copenhagen and Malö areas are a significant plus to your application.

Note: While we appreciate all applications, we hope you understand that due to the high volume of submissions, we may not be able to respond to each individual inquiry.

We will however always review every application carefully and keep them on file for future reference. Should a suitable opportunity appear, we will reach out to you.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of professional experience as an animator in the games industry.

  • Shipped at least one AA or AAA game title.

  • Experience working with both humanoid characters and creatures is a strong plus.

  • Solid experience with Maya or equivalent professional animation software.

  • Experience working with animation in Unreal Engine.

  • Ability to work from concepts, gameplay requirements and existing rigs while contributing creatively to the animation direction.

  • Comfortable working iteratively and meeting different quality benchmarks within given timeframes.

  • Ability to manage tasks independently and meet project deadlines.

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.

  • Experience with motion capture cleanup and implementation is a plus.

What we need from you:

  • A current resume/CV highlighting your relevant experience and skills.

  • A link to your animation reel showcasing relevant gameplay and character animation work.

  • A brief introduction telling us about yourself, your availability and why you’d be a good fit for the team.
