Founding Product Designer

About the Role

This is a founding product design role at a seed-stage AI SaaS startup automating office operations for field service businesses. You'll shape the product experience from the ground up, working directly with founders to turn complex workflows into beautiful, intuitive interfaces that real businesses rely on every day.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end product design across a complex, feature-rich B2B platform — from early concepts to polished UI.

• Prototype rapidly using Figma, AI-assisted tools (Lovable, Cursor), and code when needed.

• Conduct customer interviews to deeply understand user needs and translate them into design decisions.

• Collaborate closely with engineers on a React/TypeScript frontend to ship high-quality experiences fast.

• Contribute wherever design is needed — product flows, marketing surfaces, pitch decks — as an early team member.

• Help establish design systems and standards as the product and team grow.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of product design experience, with a strong portfolio of shipped work.

• Demonstrated experience designing for early-stage startups, ideally on 0-to-1 products.

• Background designing complex, data-rich B2B products with large feature sets.

• Proficiency in Figma for rapid UI design and prototyping; familiarity with Lovable, Cursor, or Webflow is a plus.

• Comfort with React/TypeScript or the ability to prototype in AI-assisted coding tools.

• Experience running customer interviews and using insights to drive design decisions.

• Hands-on, scrappy approach — you move fast, take ownership, and don't wait for a brief.

• Low ego, high ambition; thrives working intensely in a small, fast-moving team.

• Exceptional recent graduates with a strong track record of building and shipping projects are welcome to apply.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $100,000 – $180,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available. Open to both full-time employees and exceptional full-time contractors.

Location

Fully remote. Candidates based in European time zones are preferred; US East Coast time zone is also welcome.
