The Foodservice Design Manager oversees the planning, technical execution, and coordination of foodservice and retail design projects across the company portfolio. This role manages design staff, ensures technical accuracy in layouts, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones.
Salary: $100,000-$120,000 + bonus eligible

The Foodservice Design Manager oversees the planning, technical execution, and day-to-day coordination of foodservice and retail design projects across Compass Group’s portfolio. This role directly manages Foodservice Designers and BIM Managers, guiding the creation of forward-thinking café and dining spaces for corporate workplaces, education, sports, and leisure sectors while helping establish national design guidelines.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering.
Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in commercial foodservice design, kitchen planning, and design coordination.
Technical Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, KCL, and AutoQuotes.
Industry Knowledge: Strong expertise in CSI Division 11400 specifications, health/sanitation codes, equipment cost estimating, and MEP coordination.
Leadership & Communication: Demonstrated ability to supervise designers, manage multi-project workflows, and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary partners.
