Job Summary

The Financial Systems Analyst position requires strong JAMIS Accounting Software and Acumatica expertise to support financial, operational, and compliance reporting within a government contracting environment. A deep understanding is necessary of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), FAR/DFARS requirements, and indirect rate structures, with the technical skills to design, build, test, and optimize reports that enhance decision-making and ensure regulatory compliance.

Some of these are, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor, and staying focused on the assigned tasks.


Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, and maintain JAMIS Prime and Acumatica financial and operational reports using tools such as: Jamis reporting modules, Acumatica Report Designer, Generic Inquiries (GI), and Dashboards and SQL-based reporting
  • Translate business requirements into efficient, user-friendly reporting solutions
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting cycles, including revenue, project accounting, labor, indirect rates, and compliance-related reporting
  • Work closely with Accounting, Project Control Analyst, Contracts, HR, and IT teams to streamline data flow and improve reporting accuracy
  • Ensure reporting outputs align with key government contracting requirements including DCAA audit expectations
  • Build automated reporting workflows to reduce manual processes and increase data reliability
  • Troubleshoot report performance issues and maintain data integrity across integrated systems
  • Participate in system enhancements, configuration updates, and testing related to JAMIS and Acumatica financial modules
  • Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support to internal stakeholders


Basic Qualifications


  • 3+ years experience building reports in JAMIS Prime and/or JAMIS legacy platforms
  • 2+ years of hands-on Acumatica experience, with strong proficiency in Report Designer and Generic Inquiries
  • Solid understanding of government contracting accounting and indirect rate structures
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and translate it into accurate, actionable reporting
  • Experience supporting DCAA-compliant environments
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • If applicable: If you are or have been recently employed by the U.S. government, a post-employment ethics letter will be required if employment with VSolvit is offered


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
  • Experience with JAMIS Prime migrations or Acumatica customizations
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other BI/analytics tools
  • Prior experience supporting mid-size to large government contractors
  • Experience working with the military and/or government
