Financial Services Representative (Permanent, Full-time)

Location: Remote Position. The successful candidate must reside within 3 hours of Kawartha Financial Services Regional Office, Peterborough, ON 

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday

Rate of Pay: $900.47 - $1,448.91 per week (plus pension and applicable benefits)

As a Financial Services Representative, you will:

• Specialize in investments, sell and deliver all investment products and services
• Contribute towards the growth of the investment portfolio by attaining individual goals and objectives on an annual basis
• Assist with the development of business opportunities to establish a profitable investment portfolio with the corporate objectives of the credit union
• Anticipate and determine the needs of members. Transact request or refer the member to the suitable service area.
• Provide needs-based advice, counselling members on financial matters such as family budgeting, credit management and investment/retirement planning.
• Identify opportunities to generate sales and new members.
• Monitor the renewal of maturing investments. Ensure members receive appropriate notice, advising of alternative options and assist with renewals.
• Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with members by providing excellent member service.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned. 

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education with emphasis in business or financial planning would be an asset
• A minimum of two years of sales, service an investment administration and/or sales experience
• Advanced member service and sales skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Mutual Funds License, active and in good standing
• Willingness to complete additional educational components as required
