Financial Performance Analyst 3

Inova Health is looking for a dedicated Financial Performance Analyst 3 to join the team. Full-time Day Shift: Monday–Friday, general office hours, Remote work schedule.

This position is eligible for remote work for candidates residing in the following states – VA, MD, DC, DE, FL, GA, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, WV.

Financial Performance Analyst 3 Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with operational service line leaders, Finance, Information Technology, Analytics and other departments on routine and ad-hoc projects. 
• Analyzes moderate- to complex data sources containing financial data, costs, revenue trends, and performance metrics for areas of opportunities and proposes recommendations for improvement and efficiency. 
• Develops and tests of reports and analyses from various sources (e.g. financial ERP, electronic health records, benchmark tools). 
• Develops report logic, process design and implementation of projects and processes (e.g. cost accounting). 
• Conducts data gathering and reporting of financial and statistical metrics on state and external surveys (e.g. VHI, AHA). 
• Reviews processes and projects to ensure proper data definitions are defined and data integrity is upheld throughout all reports and dashboards. 
• Works with Data Management & Business Intelligence team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal stakeholders and external partners. 

Minimum Requirements: 

• Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business management, or other related field   OR   additional 4 years of equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree
• Experience: 3 years in Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Business, Statistics, related field or equivalent operational experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI

• Healthcare experience (operational experience in Patient Access: registration/scheduling/authorization)
