What You'll Be Doing- Prepare and post month-end journals to ensure accurate financial records.
- Complete month-end balance sheet reconciliations, deferred revenue schedules, and inter-entity transfer pricing calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and process monthly sales commission reports and manage fortnightly and monthly payroll processing, ensuring smooth and timely execution.
- Maintain fixed asset registers, manage CAPEX projects, and actively contribute to the audit process. You will also oversee tax compliance for FBT, GST, BAS, PAYG, IAS, and payroll tax.
- Automate and improve financial processes, supporting the development of internal controls to drive operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
- Take on additional duties and reporting tasks as needed, supporting broader finance projects and contributing to team success.
What you'll bring- CA or CPA qualified with experience in accounting. An audit background is highly desirable, and experience with IFRS 16 lease accounting standards will be advantageous.
- Exceptional accuracy and a keen eye for detail in financial reporting, reconciliations, and documentation. Your ability to ensure the integrity of financial data will be critical in this role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to data analysis and problem-solving, with a drive to improve financial processes and contribute to the team's success.
- Advanced computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel, is a must. Your technical skills will enable you to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
