AI Summary

The Finance Director will develop and manage financial models for airport feasibility reports, capital funding, and airline rates and charges. They will also guide financial analysis for Airport Master Plans and help grow the practice by shaping RFP responses.

Unison Consulting, Inc., a Paslay Group company, has spent more than 37 years helping airports navigate their most complex challenges. From finance and economics to concessions and strategic planning, we've advised over 150 airports, including 18 of the 25 busiest within the U.S., and earned a reputation for bringing genuinely new thinking to an industry that rewards it. That reputation is built entirely by our people: curious, driven, and unafraid to challenge how things have always been done.

Shape the financial future of the airports people rely on

Every capital program, every airline rate negotiation, every bond feasibility study behind a growing airport comes down to one question: does the money work? As Director of Finance at Unison, you own the answer.

You'll build the financial models that help airports across the U.S., Canada, South America, and the Caribbean fund terminals, runways, and the infrastructure millions of travelers move through. When an airport needs to know whether a multi-hundred-million-dollar expansion pencils out, or how to structure a PFC application that stands up to FAA scrutiny, your analysis is what leadership acts on. This role puts you at the center of it.

What you'll do

  • Own and evolve the financial models behind feasibility reports, capital funding analyses, and airline rates & charges - the tools that drive real airport decisions.
  • Review and sharpen the financial analyses that shape airport decisions: rates & charges, lease negotiations, bond feasibility studies, and airport revenues - and stand behind the numbers.
  • Guide the financial analysis powering Airport Master Plans, PFC applications, and CFC studies.
  • Help grow the practice - spot new opportunities and shape RFP responses that bring in the next set of clients.

What you bring

  1. 5+ years in airport finance - you know this industry, not just finance in general.
  2. A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Aviation Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar). A master's degree is a plus, not a must.
  3. Deep command of financial modeling and the analytical toolkit - advanced Excel, statistical methods, and database applications.
  4. The judgment and presence to work directly with senior client executives and earn their trust.
  5. Sharp problem-solving and communication - you can turn complex analysis into a clear recommendation, in writing and in the room.
