They have over 40+ years in wealth management and 100+ years in tax and accounting expertise. They’re a trusted partner bringing decades of experience in accounting, auditing, and wealth management. They cut through complexity and deliver with clarity, precision, and pace. 

 

About the Role 

The Finance Assistant provides essential support to the Finance team through accurate bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial processing activities.  

 

This role is suited to an individual with foundational accounting experience who is ready to take on greater responsibility in day-to-day financial operations.  

 

The position focuses on strengthening technical accounting capability, improving efficiency in financial workflows, and contributing to timely and accurate financial reporting. 

 

Your Responsibilities 

  • Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. 
  • Assist in the preparation of working papers. 
  • Assist with end-of-month reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. 
  • Provide assistance in managing supplier and service provider relationships. 
  • Support payroll processing for Modoras' internal operations. 
  • Collaborate with the finance supervisor to maintain proper structure and oversight of financial operations 

 

Your Background 

  • Graduated or currently studying Accounting, Finance or related degree. 
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles. 
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. 
  • Proficient in accounting software (Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Excellent organizational skills. 
  • High attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal). 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
