  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Customer Support, and other internal teams to resolve escalated technical issues.
  • Communicate directly with customers to understand technical concerns, provide updates, and ensure issues are resolved effectively.
  • Complete detailed documentation of service activities, troubleshooting performed, root causes, parts used, and recommendations for corrective action or improvement.
  • Identify recurring equipment or service issues and recommend improvements to increase reliability and customer satisfaction.
  • Support warranty investigations, equipment reliability initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety policies, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer requirements.
  • Maintain tools, test equipment, and service vehicles in safe and optimal working condition.
  • Follow established technical processes, procedures, and methodologies while exercising sound judgment when addressing new or atypical assignments.
  • Work independently with limited supervision, seeking additional support when dealing with highly complex or unfamiliar situations.
  • Serve as an informal technical resource and subject matter expert for junior technicians and other team members.
  • Travel to customer locations as required to support installations, service calls, commissioning, troubleshooting, and other field service needs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree, associate degree, or specialized technical training preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in field service, industrial equipment, manufacturing, electrical/mechanical systems, or a related technical field.
