Field Service Engineer, AMS

At Phillips Corporation’s Advanced Manufacturing Solutions (AMS) division, the Service Engineer plays a pivotal role in driving customer uptime and leading the installation, integration, and maintenance of cutting-edge Hybrid manufacturing systems, CNC machine tools, and additive technologies. Operating in a high-impact, field-based capacity, this position combines advanced electromechanical troubleshooting across complex laser, controls, welding, and automation subsystems with proactive remote and on-site support. By delivering right-first-time outcomes, validating system performance, and developing standardized integration protocols, you will directly safeguard operational continuity while building lasting trust as the primary technical partner for our customers.

Beyond hands-on technical execution, success in this role hinges on clear customer communication, continuous knowledge transfer, and operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with internal partners, applications teams, and suppliers to resolve complex engineering challenges, mentor emerging technicians, and keep technical documentation meticulous. Candidates need proven expertise in CNC controls (such as Haas), field service management systems, and multi-system diagnostics, paired with strong self-direction and an uncompromised commitment to safety. The expected pay range for a qualified person in this role is between $65,000.00 and $95,000.00 per year plus overtime, depending on experience level. If you have a different suggestion, please mention it in your application.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Advanced Mechanical & Electrical Troubleshooting
• Strong ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in CNC and manufacturing equipment.
• CNC Controls & Automation Knowledge
• Hands-on experience with Haas CNC controls, tooling, probing, automation, and peripheral equipment (robots, bar feeders, pallets).
• Customer-Facing Communication Skills
• Proven ability to explain technical issues clearly, manage expectations, and build trust with customers under high-pressure situations.
