Federal Specialized Sales Engineer - Digital Power

We are seeking a Federal Specialized Sales Engineer to be a subject matter expert for Digital Power.

What will you do in this position?

Sales Enablement:

• Collaborate with Strategic Account Executives, Territory Account Executives, and Schneider field offices in developing a strategy for growing Digital Power business across the federal space.
• Assist in the creation of technical proposals and responding to RFPs/RFIs.
• Stay informed of new Schneider product releases, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
• Serve as the go-to expert for Strategic Account Executives on Digital Power products, services, and solutions.

Customer Engagement:

• Participate in customer meetings, industry events, and site visits, representing Schneider Electric's Power Systems business.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their unique needs and challenges.
• Develop customized solutions that meet specific customer requirements.
• Provide virtual or in-person training on Digital Power both internally and externally.

Internal Collaboration:

• Establish, maintain, and leverage relationships within the Digital Power Business Unit to support the global strategic account managers and federal account executives to drive "One Schneider" solution selling.
• Share customer feedback and insights to drive product development and improvement.
• Contribute to the development of sales strategies and go-to-market plans for the federal market.

Technical Expertise:

• Deep understanding of Schneider Electric's Digital Power solutions.
• Experience with advanced metering and controls solutions.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., cybersecurity, safety).

Customer-Facing Skills:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to tailor technical information to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to build relationships and trust with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience working with federal government agencies or customers a plus.

Sales Support Experience:

• Track record of collaborating with sales teams to drive revenue growth.
• Understanding of the federal government procurement process and sales cycle.
• Ability to identify customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Understanding of Digital Power quotations process to facilitate quotes.

Additional Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Industry certifications (e.g., ISA, CISSP) are a plus.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events.
