Who We Are

The Farm & Industry Engagement Department sits within the ASPCA’s Policy, Response and Engagement Group, and works to advance the organization’s mission to improve animals’ lives by engaging the private sector. The primary focus to date of this department has been the ASPCA’s goal to end factory farming and build a more humane farming system by collaborating with farmers to advance policy reforms, spurring corporate policy change in the food industry, building public awareness of farm animal welfare issues and guiding consumers toward higher welfare meat, eggs and dairy products. The department is now building out additional industry focus areas.
