The Division of General Internal Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh seeks an outstanding Part Time Instructor (appointment stream). The candidate will be co-developing and co-leading a course on Leading Interprofessional Education for the new PhD program within the Health Professions Education program at the Pitt ICRE. As we design the curriculum, it’s clear that strong expertise in interprofessional education and collaboration will be essential for preparing future scholars and leaders in health professions education. Effort
allocation is 100%25 virtual teaching.
 

General rank requirements: An Instructor should have demonstrated teaching ability and/or professional experience of a kind that would enable them to make an academic contribution. The Instructor should possess a doctoral or appropriate professional degree ( i.e. PharmD, PhD, MD). They should exhibit promise of originality and excellence in some field of scholarship and demonstrated ability in guiding and counseling students.
