The Unit Cloud Services operates on a national and international level, for medium-sized and large companies. Your Department

We run T Cloud Public! T Cloud Public is a public cloud standard product based on open source community software and driven by principles of DevSecOps. Lean structures, agile methods, highly motivated teams and an extremely dynamic business environment determine our actions. With this customer-oriented and agile orientation, we are the anchor point for the Public Cloud business in Deutsche Telekom Group.

We are measured by delivering a secure, stable and innovative platform. We work jointly with our platform partner and other partners out of the OpenStack ecosystem to create a highly innovative public cloud product based on European security and data protection standards.

We are looking for people who are professionals with a great deal of enthusiasm for cloud technology and who are up to the challenges created by the development and operation of a hyper-scale public cloud.

Your Tasks

As a Process Manager you know IT-Processes from ITIL to Agile. You adapt and implement processes to the specific needs of modern Cloud IT Operations.

You want: 

• Technical Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for Data Center technicians, providing clear email instructions regarding hardware replacement schedules and requirements. 

• Vendor Coordination: Manage external communications with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of replacement parts and service alignment. 

• Incident & Task Tracking: Maintain real-time accuracy of hardware incidents by providing detailed updates within Jira service management tools. 

• Knowledge Management: Proactively update operational workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs) within Confluence to ensure team alignment. 

• Compliance & Security Administration: Manage security reporting workflows, ensuring all hardware replacements are accompanied by proper documentation, uploaded proofs of work, and adherence to safety protocols. 

• Eliminate wait times in Agile workflows.  

• Consistently automate with common frameworks. 

• Design and implement internal tools and services. 

• Maintain an overview of processes, communication, and motivation within the team. 

• Establish and communicate processes where necessary.  

• Engage in improving overarching process-landscapes and structures. 

• Work in a community where everyone helps each other in an open and trusting manner. 

Qualifications

Your Profile

• Completed studies in a technical, engineering or business subject or comparable professional training. 

• min 3 years of professional experience in IT with a focus on modern cloud technologies.  

• Good knowledge of process creation and documentation, especially for DevOps. 

• Extensive knowledge in infrastructure automation. 

• Knowledge of agile development processes. 

• High level of customer orientation. 

• Ability to assess technical solutions and find creative approaches to solutions. 

• OpenStack and programming experience in open source projects is a plus. 

• Fluency in written and spoken English.
