Executive Producer, Command Centers (Fractional)

About the role

Creator Command Centers are NewWorld’s premier strategy offering, pairing proven narrative strategy and audience insight with a creator-led approach to reaching, moving, and mobilizing the people who matter most. This role leads that work across every command center we run for clients.

Each command center is led by a Strategy Director, Command Center, who owns its strategy and runs it day to day with a team of designers, project managers, and production staff. You manage the Strategy Directors, and through them every command center we run. You decide how people and time are shared across engagements, hold every command center to the same bar, and step in when an engagement needs senior judgment.

You also build the practice itself, from how a command center is scoped, staffed, and launched to how results are measured and turned into the next proposal. You work closely with the Head of NewWorld Strategies on where the business goes next, with the Senior Program Director on winning and staffing new work, and with Research & Insights on the audience insight every engagement depends on.

What you’ll do

Command centers

• Oversee every active Creator Command Center, from launch through final reporting
• Hold each engagement to its scope, budget, timeline, and quality bar
• Step in on high-stakes moments, client escalations, and fast-moving news
• Serve as the senior client partner on our most important engagements

Strategy Directors and teams

• Hire, manage, and develop the Strategy Directors who lead each command center
• Staff each command center from the shared team of designers, project managers, and production staff
• Manage partner agencies, creator networks, and vendors across engagements

The practice

• Build and refine the command center model, including scoping, onboarding, workflows, and reporting
• Turn results into case studies and proposals with the Senior Program Director
• Bring audience research and performance data into how every engagement is planned and measured

What you bring

10+ years in strategic communications, campaigns, or client leadership, including leading several engagements and teams at once

• A record of leading high-stakes, fast-moving communications or campaign work for mission-driven organizations
• Experience managing strategists or engagement leads across several concurrent engagements
• Senior client leadership, with the credibility to guide executives through difficult calls
• Fluency in creator ecosystems and how narrative translates to platform-native content
• Strong command of scopes, budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships
• Experience building a repeatable service model or practice, not just running projects
• Calm, clear judgment when several engagements peak at once
• Experience in an early-stage or fast-moving consultancy, agency, or media company

Compensation and benefits

The salary range is $150,000–$180,000 and is set by experience. Compensation is competitive with current market rates for comparable roles in media and communications. The role includes full benefits, with health coverage and paid time off. The role is remote, with a strong preference for candidates based in New York, Toronto, or Los Angeles, and the option to work from our New York office.
