The supervisor is responsible for leading a team to develop and execute executive communication plans and corporate event content. They partner with leadership to ensure messaging is consistent, timely, and aligned with organizational business objectives.
Responsible for executing Executive and Events communication plans, providing supervision for a team of professionals, overseeing the development, coordination, and delivery of executive messaging, communications, and event-related content that supports business objectives and company events. Partners with executives, department leaders, and key stakeholders to align communication priorities, develop effective messaging strategies, and ensure successful execution of communication and event objectives.
1. Supervise a team of professionals in the execution of communication strategies, projects, and initiatives that support organizational goals and business priorities.
2. Develop and implement executive communication plans that effectively communicate leadership priorities, business objectives, organizational updates, and key initiatives to targeted audiences.
3. Oversee the creation, editing, approval, and distribution of executive communications across appropriate channels to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with organizational messaging.
4. Partner with executives, department leaders, and key stakeholders to identify communication needs, establish priorities, and develop strategic messaging approaches.
5. Manage the review, prioritization, and consolidation of communication requests to ensure messaging is timely, relevant, effective, and coordinated across the organization.
6. Lead communication planning and support for corporate events, ensuring messaging strategies, materials, and communications align with event objectives and business needs.
7. Coordinate with event support teams and cross-functional partners to facilitate communication activities before, during, and after organizational events and initiatives.
8. Ensure event-related content and key messages are communicated to both event participants and broader organizational audiences, as appropriate, to maximize awareness and engagement.
9. Monitor communication effectiveness and recommend improvements to communication processes, messaging strategies, channels, and audience engagement practices.
10. Manage, develop, coach, and evaluate direct reports, fostering accountability, collaboration, professional development, and achievement of individual and departmental objectives.

Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism or related field required
Experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in communication responsibilities or related field with at least one year of writing / editing experience required.
• Retail operations experience required.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
