Evaluator, Early Support for Infants & Toddlers Program

Children’s Therapy Center (CTC) is seeking Children’s Therapy Center is looking for a licensed provider (OT, PT, SLP, Special Educator, or Social Worker/IMH) to join our virtual evaluation team serving our Early Support for Infants & Toddlers Program (ESIT). In this role, Evaluators partner with families and an interdisciplinary team to complete ESIT evaluations and assessments for children referred to our Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) program and determine eligibility for services.

Requirements

Primary Responsibilities

• Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to conduct family-centered, strengths-based screenings, evaluations, and ongoing assessments to inform eligibility determination and contribute to full evaluation report.
• Prepare clear, timely documentation that summarizes assessment findings and eligibility determinations.
• Complete all required documentation and recordkeeping within CTC ESIT timelines (within 3 business days of the evaluation).
• Contribute to Child Outcomes Summary (COS) preparation to support IFSP team assignment.
• Develop end-of-evaluation summaries, including therapeutic activities and strategies discussed with the family.
• Collaborate with Family Resources Coordinators (FRCs), providers, and program leadership to ensure coordinated, family-centered evaluations.
• Participate as an active member of the ESIT team during team meetings, staffing, in-services, peer coaching/consultation.
• Demonstrates ability to embrace, integrate and adapt to cultural, racial, linguistic, ethnic, and socio-economic diversity into the daily curriculum by partnering with families and caregivers to incorporate and value aspects of language and traditions into the daily routine.
• Values and promotes relationships between caregivers and children by fostering warm/healthy attachments and interactions.
• As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, responsible for ensuring compliance with Children’s Therapy Center’s, IDEA Part B & C’s processes, policies, and timelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of license/credential and professional specialty.

Qualifications

• Must Reside in Washington State.
• Must hold (or obtain) Washington State licensure/credential in one of the following: PT, OT, SLP, Social Worker, Special Educator, or Developmental Specialist.
• Must hold (or obtain) a valid ESIT Credential.
• Demonstrate a commitment to high-quality practice, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing.
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development and disabilities.
• Related experience with infants, toddlers, and their families in a multi-disciplinary setting.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey thoughts and express ideas effectively using various oral, written, visual, and/or non-verbal skills.
• Effective listening skills, including the ability to recognize, comprehend and appreciate various perspectives and diverse points of view.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to organize work to meet various commitments and responsibilities.
• Ability to anticipate potential challenges and adjust to changes as needed.
• Collaborative and participatory; serves as an active member of the team, inviting diverse perspectives to support organizational priorities and common goals.
• Demonstrated the ability to include, value, respect, and engage perspectives that cross cultural backgrounds, lived experiences, and diverse points of view.
• Strong decision-making skills, including the ability to complete duties factoring appropriate or relevant details, considerations, and input from all individuals impacted.
• Consciously and intentionally operates with self-awareness; consistently seeking opportunities to learning and grow in proactive and respectful ways.
• Telehealth experience (preferred).
• Bilingual skills (preferred).
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• If local: valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position (minimum 32 hours per week) primarily responsible for conducting virtual ESIT evaluations. Evaluators are scheduled into dedicated evaluation blocks to support consistent service delivery and timely completion of reports.

Compensation and Benefits

Children’s Therapy Center offers equitable and competitive pay commensurate with job-related experience and education. The pay rate range for this position is $39.12-$58.65 per hour dependent on related experience and education.
