Driving the evolution of productised services with a focus on Business Transformation as a Service (BTaaS), this position ensures transformation service offerings remain aligned with market needs, commercially viable, and structured to support organisations. Working fully remotely from South Africa during UK business hours acting as a critical link between sales, marketing, delivery, and customer success, the role focuses on defining product propositions, shaping go-to-market strategies, and ensuring offerings are structured, repeatable, and scalable.

Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), the post holder evaluates market trends, identifies portfolio gaps, and assesses strategic partnerships with technology providers or consultancy firms to enhance overall service capabilities. This service-led role focuses on driving strategic service innovation and commercial strategy rather than software feature roadmaps, ensuring that structured transformation offerings deliver measurable value and strengthen competitive positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and own the BTaaS and productised services roadmap aligned with customer needs, industry trends, and commercial goals; define clear value propositions, pricing models, and positioning strategies; conduct market research and competitor analysis; and recommend strategic technology or consultancy partnerships.

  • Service Definition and Development: Define clear service propositions, value statements, and commercial models for productised services; collaborate with delivery teams to standardise and refine offerings for repeatability and scalability; create and maintain product documentation including service descriptions, product sheets, commercial models, frameworks, and sales enablement assets.

  • Go-to-Market and Commercialisation: Formulate go-to-market strategies and pricing structures; partner with sales and marketing teams to build messaging, collateral, campaign plans, and customer persona alignment; provide training and enablement to sales teams; and monitor commercial performance to deliver data-driven recommendations for revenue optimization.

  • Customer and Market Insight: Gather feedback from customers, sales, and delivery teams to continuously refine service offerings and roadmap priorities; partner with Customer Success Managers to align BTaaS offerings with long-term customer transformation goals; and stay informed on best practices in business transformation, ERP services, and technology innovation.



Requirements

  • Experience in product management, service development, or business transformation.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to define value propositions, pricing models, and go-to-market strategies.

  • Ability to translate customer needs into structured, repeatable, and scalable service offerings.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with proven ability working across sales, marketing, delivery, and customer success teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in market research and competitor analysis.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Comfortable presenting to customers, industry forums, and senior leadership teams.

  • Experience within ERP, business transformation, or consultancy-based service models.

  • Understanding of digital change management and its impact on organisations.

  • Knowledge of product management frameworks (e.g., Lean Product Management, Agile, Service Blueprinting).

  • Experience using product management tools such as Productboard, JIRA, and Confluence.

Desirable Requirements

  • Knowledge of subscription-based services.

  • Understanding of UK Public Sector, NHS, Higher Education (HE), or not-for-profit organisations.

  • Exposure to integration platforms and middleware solutions.

  • Experience in identifying and managing strategic technology or consultancy partnerships.
