Overview
The Enterprise Marketing Director owns execution of Cotiviti's enterprise narrative, category story, and executive-facing positioning — work that spans every portfolio rather than belonging to one. This role maintains the enterprise messaging framework and supporting campaigns, supports Cotiviti presenters in analyst relationships and executive briefings, and synthesizes competitive and market signal into the corporate story. Unlike a portfolio-aligned Director, Product Marketing role, this position has no assigned solution area: its scope is the company's story as a whole.
Responsibilities
- 25% Enterprise narrative ownership. Maintain and execute campaigns derived from Cotiviti's enterprise messaging framework, category story, and narrative hierarchy, ensuring consistency across executive, sales, and marketing communications.
- 20% Analyst relations. Develop briefing presentations to support the ongoing relationship with industry analysts (e.g., Gartner, KLAS); educate the GTM team on analyst findings and maintain accurate repository of enterprise stats and KPIs that quantify the VOM assessment of our portfolio.
- 15% Cross-functional governance. Partner with Brand, Communications, Events, and Product Marketing leads to ensure portfolio-level messaging stays connected to the enterprise narrative.
- 15% Competitive and win/loss synthesis. Translate competitive intelligence and win/loss findings from the Market & Competitive Intelligence function into narrative, messaging, and category-strategy implications — this role synthesizes signal into story rather than owning the underlying research program.
- 10% Executive support. Prepare executive talk tracks, briefing materials, and category-strategy input for board meetings, investor conversations, and other high-visibility moments, in partnership with and at times in support of the SVP.
- 10% CAB and advisory-board orchestration. Own agenda and content for the customer and executive advisory board program, partnering with Events on production and logistics.
- 5% AI-assisted narrative development. Applies AI-assisted tools for narrative drafting, analyst-brief synthesis, and competitive-signal research; establishes guardrails for AI-assisted work on externally visible content and tracks its impact on narrative velocity and quality.
- Hire, develop, coach, lead and retain top-tier talent, with a focus on building and improving a team and culture that is able to assist in employing best in class practices to support and drive high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting.
- Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and is not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required. This job description does not constitute an employment agreement and is subject to change as the needs of Cotiviti and requirements of the job change.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field; MBA a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate marketing, communications, or product marketing, with direct experience owning narrative or messaging at an enterprise or category level.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with industry analysts (e.g., Gartner, KLAS) and preparing executive-level briefing materials.
- Exceptional written and verbal storytelling skills; ability to translate complex, cross-portfolio capabilities into a coherent category narrative.
- Comfort operating without a single assigned product or portfolio — this role's scope is defined by the enterprise story, not a solution area.
- Ability to travel for in-person conferences, analyst briefings, and executive events, approximately 15%.
Cognitive/Mental Requirements:
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Problem-solving and thinking critically.
- Interpreting data and market research.
- Making timely decisions in the context of a workflow.
- Maintaining focus while managing multiple projects and priorities.

- Must be able to provide high-speed internet access, connectivity, and office setup and maintenance.
- Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.
