Role Overview

The Energy Management Software Sales Executive role is an individual contributor position focused on helping customers understand and adopt SEE Electrical as part of Schneider Electric’s Energy Management Software portfolio. This person will work with customers, partners, and internal sales teams to identify opportunities, explain the value of SEE Electrical, and help move qualified opportunities to close.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys consultative selling, learning customer needs, and connecting software capabilities to practical business outcomes. The person should be comfortable working independently and when priorities or next steps are not fully defined.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and close SEE Electrical sales opportunities with customers, partners, and Schneider Electric sales teams.
  • Use a consultative approach to understand customer needs, challenges, and priorities.
  • Create simple, customer-specific value messages that explain how SEE Electrical can help improve design productivity, documentation quality, and workflow efficiency.
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline, including opportunity follow-up, forecasting, and next-step planning.
  • Work with internal teams, distributors, partners, and technical resources to support customer conversations and solution positioning.
  • Represent both the customer and Schneider Electric by helping shape solutions that are practical, valuable, and commercially sound.
  • Share customer feedback, competitive insights, and market learnings to help improve the SEE Electrical sales motion.

Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B sales, software sales, digital solutions, industrial automation, electrical design, or technical solution selling.
  • Ability to build relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and follow-up skills.
  • Comfortable learning new software and explaining value in a simple, practical way.
  • Ability to manage opportunities independently and use good judgment in changing or unclear situations.
  • Experience with panel builders, OEMs, contractors, system integrators, distributors, or engineering teams.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for customer and partner meetings.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 115,200 - USD 172,800 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
