As a Senior Endpoint Security Engineer, you will serve as a technical leader within the Cybersecurity & Risk team, helping build and mature endpoint security capabilities across the enterprise. This role is ideal for an experienced cybersecurity professional who enjoys solving complex challenges, implementing modern security technologies, influencing strategy, and developing scalable security practices that strengthen organizational resilience.
The Role
The Senior Endpoint Security Engineer combines endpoint security engineering, threat detection, operational security, and strategic program development. You will work closely with security, infrastructure, and engineering teams to improve visibility into threats, strengthen defensive capabilities, and advance the organization's overall cybersecurity maturity.
On a typical day, you may:
Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise endpoint detection and response (EDR) technologies.
Engineer and tune endpoint security controls, policies, detections, and automation workflows.
Investigate endpoint security alerts, suspicious activity, and emerging threats.
Support security incident response and assist with complex investigations.
Develop operational procedures, playbooks, workflows, and security standards.
Partner with infrastructure and engineering teams to implement secure endpoint configurations.
Evaluate new security technologies and recommend improvements that enhance security posture.
Build dashboards, monitoring capabilities, security metrics, and automated response processes.
Serve as a trusted technical resource and escalation point for endpoint security initiatives.
Help establish and mature security processes, procedures, and operational best practices.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate specialty, or an equivalent combination of accreditation, education and experience required.
Experience: 5+ years relevant professional experience required.
Licensure: CISSP or HCISPP may be required as specified.

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
