Employment Lawyer (Fully Remote)

We’re looking for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join our growing, forward-thinking team at ESP Solicitors Limited, part of the WorkNest group.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, pragmatic employment law advice, acting as a trusted partner to HR professionals and business leaders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing day-to-day employment law and employee relations advice, diagnosing issues and delivering clear, commercially focused solutions

  • Managing a varied caseload, including Employment Tribunal litigation from initial instruction through to resolution

  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, procedures, and tailored documentation aligned to client needs

  • Supporting clients with complex projects such as TUPE transfers and large-scale organisational change

  • Building strong client relationships through regular contact, including client “surgeries” and strategic discussions

  • Designing and delivering employment law training, workshops, and webinars

  • Contributing to business development through articles, social media engagement, and networking

  • Supporting innovation and continuous improvement across services and delivery methods

About You

We’re looking for a technically strong, commercially minded Employment Lawyer who is confident advising HR professionals and thrives in a remote environment.

You’ll bring:

  • Qualification as a Solicitor, Barrister or equivalent, with solid employment law experience

  • A strong background across both contentious and non-contentious matters, including Tribunal work

  • Proven experience supporting HR professionals within complex or large organisations

  • A pragmatic, commercially focused approach, with the ability to analyse issues and deliver practical solutions

  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to build credibility and lasting relationships with clients and colleagues

  • The ability to work independently, managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organisational skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset

  • An interest in delivering training, workshops or webinars

  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach, alongside a genuine interest in innovation and service development
