Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Employee Experience Specialist on a temporary basis (term up to 9 months).

Join a team that’s shaping the future of employee experience across the Cooperative Retailing System (CRS). From onboarding and career development to succession planning and organizational learning, you’ll play a key role in shaping a workplace where people thrive.

This position is a remote opportunity and can be based throughout Western Canada.

What you’ll do:

  • Influence the design, rollout, and sustainment of talent programs at all phases of the employee lifecycle, ultimately elevating the employee experience across the CRS.

  • Support internal teams on the implementation and execution of organizational wide employee experience programs and initiatives.

  • Review tools and identify opportunities for updates, sourcing vendors to enable the continuous execution of the program and meet evolving needs.

  • Research emerging trends in employee experience and talent programs, using insights to inform recommendations that evolve CRS strategy.

Who you’ll work with: 

You will be one of four Employee Experience Specialists and will report to the Manager, Employee Experience. This team supports the development of programs and tools to deliver a consistent, community-driven, and purpose-led employee experience. You will collaborate often with stakeholders across our People & Culture business unit in areas including Talent Acquisition, HR Systems, Learning & Development, among others.

Who you are: 

You are looking for a career in human resources and:

  • Have a minimum of 3-6 years of HR experience in at least two of the following areas:

    • Learning and Development

    • Talent Acquisition

    • Talent Management

    • Employee Experience

    • Workforce Planning

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in business, preferably majoring in HR.

  • Possess a CPHR Designation (considered an asset).
