ABOUT THE ROLE

Avid Technology is seeking a passionate, innovative, and proactive EMEA Benefits Specialist with expertise in EMEA Benefit Administration.  The EMEA Benefits Specialist is responsible for the administration and compliance of Avid’s EMEA-based group benefit plans.

This role will be involved in performing analytical and administrative activities in the planning, development, implementation, communication, and administration of Avid’s program, policies, working with employees, leadership, vendors/brokers and other stakeholders. This role reports to the Global Benefits Lead, Total Rewards.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Implements Benefit strategies, frameworks and programs to align with business strategy and ensure the right mix and offerings are available to attract, motivate and retain an innovative, high caliber, global workforce.

  • Responsible for the successful management and administration of all EMEA Benefit programs, partnering closely with brokers, vendors, employees, HR team and payroll.

  • Manages the complete leave process in EMEA countries with external leave administrators. This includes managing leave dates, eligibility, pay, documentation, and ensuring alignment with policies and government regulations.

  • Manages EMEA invoicing, tracks payment and tracks benefit-related costs. Researches and resolves all billing discrepancies. Implements appropriate mitigation activities if needed.

  • Responsible for resolving employee questions, developing, and deploying communication. Creates and maintains the EMEA benefits pages through SharePoint to promote employee self-service and provide resources to employees.

  • Leads and completes any annual enrollment processes including analyzing cost impact of options/changes, communications, system configurations (if necessary), SharePoint posts, and post-annual enrollment audits.

  • Partners with global benefits and HR team on global benefit resources.

  • Provides project management support to Global Benefits as needed.

  • Partners effectively and proactively with Finance, Accounting, Payroll, Tax, and Legal to anticipate, implement and/or address Benefit initiatives or matters.

  • Completes various analyses including assessing market competitiveness, trends, plan effectiveness, providing recommendations and modeling costs.

  • Ensures processes, practices and policies remain compliant and stay current with all laws and regulations, internal audits, and other controls.

  • Adheres to and completes all compliance testing and audit requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; Benefit certification preferred.

  • At least 3-5 years of applied experience.

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy, as well as problem solving skills required.

  • Proficient analytical skills coupled with the ability to translate analysis to presentations required.

  • Basic Excel skills required (i.e. simple formulas, pivots, charts, etc.).

  • Experience planning and managing projects preferred.

  • Experience in Workday preferred.

Salary Range: MIN 113,224 PLN to MAX 169,846 PLN/Annual

The salary range shown reflects the company's good faith full target range for this position at the time of posting. The company may update or modify this range at any time and endeavors to keep this posting current. Compensation decisions are based on factors including geographic location, experience, skills, education, and business needs. While the full range is posted for transparency, offers are typically made within the lower to middle portion of the range.
