Develop and execute an editorial brand strategy and insight-driven campaign briefs to drive brand awareness across owned channels. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create structured, LLM-ready content and manage narrative development for key content partners.
About the role
The Editorial Brand Strategist will help bring Ritual's brand to life through best-in-class content—especially writing-led storytelling, creator-driven programming, and cross-functional campaign strategy.
This role is for a strategic writer and systems thinker who can develop compelling campaign briefs, shape content strategy, and drive consistency across Ritual's owned channels. You'll have a specific focus on developing content that supports LLM-driven initiatives in close collaboration with organic social + growth teams (video and written).
You are a hands-on doer with excellent taste and a passion for women’s health: organized, collaborative, and excited to build content systems and campaign infrastructure that scale, without losing craft.
What you'll do
- Help develop sharp, insight-driven briefs for cross-functional brand awareness campaigns that translate strategy into clear creative direction, ensuring cross-functional teams consistently achieve campaign KPIs.
- Collaborate with Brand, Growth, Social, and Creative teams, helping to ensure seamless alignment and creative integrity from briefing to launch.
- Design and implement an innovative editorial content strategy for owned channels, identifying and activating cultural moments that deepen brand resonance.
- Help drive the creation of structured, "LLM-ready" content in partnership with growth teams, leveraging clear communication to ensure accuracy and reusability across AI-enabled workflows (written & video).
- Lead the narrative development for key content partners, managing the full lifecycle from activation to delivery to ensure maximum mission-driven impact and storytelling consistency.
Who you are
- Clear Communicator: You are a skilled writer with a demonstrated ability across both short-form and longer-form content. Your express ideas clearly and thoughtfully, and are able to translate brand vision into clear, actionable direction for cross-functional teams.
- Empowered Collaborator: You thrive in collaborative environments, valuing empathy, open communication, and respect when partnering with cross-functional teams to build mission-driven work.
- Growth-Oriented & Curious: You have a passion for lifelong learning and are excited to evolve your craft, specifically regarding the intersection of content strategy and AI/LLMs.
- Self-Starter: You bring autonomy and perseverance to your projects, maintaining high standards and staying organized while managing complex workflows.
- Content-Savvy: You understand tone, timing, and cultural relevance. You can produce content that resonates while ensuring that brand storytelling remains trustworthy, accurate, and aligned with our commitment to women's health.
- Resourceful: You balance big-picture storytelling with operational rigor, comfortably managing cross-functional workstreams, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in content, editorial, brand strategy, social, partnerships, or creator programming (brand-side or agency).
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills
- Exceptional writing skills for both short-form and longer-form content.
- Knowledge of, or strong interest in, how to tailor and structure content for LLMs and AI applications.
We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every qualification listed above. We're committed to building a diverse team and recognize that skills can be developed in many different ways.
