ECF CHOICES Support Coordinator Supervisor

Our ECF CHOICES team is looking for a new ECF CHOICES Supervisor!

We are seeking a results-driven and people-focused ECF CHOICES Supervisor who is committed to strengthening frontline execution and ensuring consistent, high-quality service coordination for members enrolled in the Employment and Community First (ECF) CHOICES program. In this role, you will serve as a critical operational leader by coaching and developing a team of Support Coordinators, overseeing daily workflows, and ensuring quality, productivity, compliance, and person-centered practices that support positive member outcomes.

The ECF CHOICES Supervisor plays a key leadership role in supporting Support Coordination staff, monitoring staff performance, ensuring compliance with TennCare and BlueCare requirements, and promoting excellence in person-centered service delivery. You will provide real-time guidance, performance coaching, issue resolution, and operational support to a dynamic team while maintaining strong relationships with members, families, providers, and community partners. Your leadership will help translate program goals into effective execution by ensuring timely assessments, person-centered support plans, visit completion, critical incident follow-up, and coordination of services that promote community integration, personal independence, health, and safety. You will also support workforce development through onboarding, mentoring, and continuous education, helping staff navigate complex member needs while maintaining regulatory compliance and quality standards.

• RN with an active license in the state of Tennessee or hold a license in the state of their residence if the state is participating in the Nurse Licensure Compact Act; or Masters in Social Work with an active unrestricted license or; BS degree in social work, nursing, education or related field as approved by TENNCARE or; meet the federal requirements for a Qualified Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP / QIDP) is required.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor performance of staff including service performance and adherence to established utilization benchmarks. Provide and/or coordinate staff training for maximum performance and provide developmental opportunities.
• Supervise, direct, and evaluate a diverse group of support coordination professionals to assure effectiveness of person centered support coordination activities including development of person centered support plans to include outcomes and goals for employment and integrated community living for people receiving ECF CHOICES services, authorizing services as outlined in the plan, ensure the implementation of the plan as written and monitoring of the plan to ensure progress is being made toward th
• May be required periodically to carry case load of members, when dictated by census fluctuations or staffing coverage.
• Responsible for communicating and mentoring members of the support coordination team to ensure ECF CHOICES guidelines, policies, and procedures are followed.
• Various immunizations and/or associated medical tests may be required for this position.
• 90% day travel required

Job Qualifications

Education

• RN with an active license in the state of Tennessee or hold a license in the state of their residence if the state is participating in the Nurse Licensure Compact Act; or Masters in Social Work with an active unrestricted license or; BS degree in social work, nursing, education or related field as approved by TENNCARE or; meet the federal requirements for a Qualified Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP / QIDP).

Experience

• 3 years - Supervisory experience required
• 2 years - Experience in supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities required

Skills\Certifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills and ability to perform non-routine analytical tasks

License

• Valid Driver's License

Employees who are required to operate either a BCBST-owned vehicle or a personal or rental vehicle for company business on a routine basis* will be automatically enrolled into the BCBST Driver Safety Program.   The employee will also be required to adhere to the guidelines set forth through the program.  This includes, maintaining a valid driver’s license, auto insurance compliance with minimum liability requirements; as defined in the “Use of Non BCBST-Owned Vehicle” Policy (for employees driving personal or rental vehicles only); and maintaining an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR). *The definition for "routine basis" is defined as daily, weekly or at regularly schedule times.
