We are seeking an experienced SAP Security Consultant responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP security solutions across SAP landscapes. The candidate will ensure compliance with organizational security policies, manage user access, perform risk analysis, and support audits while collaborating with business and technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain SAP security roles and authorizations across SAP systems.
- Perform user administration activities including user creation, modification, lock/unlock, and access reviews.
- Implement and support SAP GRC Access Control, Risk Analysis, Emergency Access Management (Firefighter), and Access Request Management.
- Conduct Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and remediation activities.
- Design single, composite, and derived roles based on business requirements.
- Support SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW, BPC, Solution Manager, Fiori, and SAP Cloud applications security.
- Perform periodic user access reviews and compliance reporting.
- Manage security transports and role lifecycle management.
- Investigate and resolve authorization issues and security incidents.
- Support internal and external audits by providing security documentation and evidence.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure secure system implementations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Strong experience in SAP Security and Authorization concepts.
- Hands-on experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Security.
- Expertise in role design, SU24, PFCG, SU01, ST01, SU53, and authorization troubleshooting.
- Experience with SAP GRC Access Control modules.
- Knowledge of Segregation of Duties (SoD) principles.
- Experience with SAP Fiori Security, Gateway Security, and HANA Database Security.
- Understanding of SAP transport management and security best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- SAP Security and/or SAP GRC certification preferred.
- Experience with SAP BTP Security, SAP IDM, or Identity Access Management solutions.
- Exposure to audit frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, and ITGC controls.
