The DTC E-commerce Marketing Manager will oversee the day-to-day marketing functions, including paid advertising, email, SMS, and site conversion to drive orders. They will lead a team of specialists, set marketing priorities, and manage the overall strategy and promotional calendar.
This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.

The DTC E-commerce Marketing Manager will take ownership of the company’s day-to-day marketing function, overseeing everything that contributes to generating an order.
This role will oversee paid advertising, email and SMS, organic social media, promotions, site conversion, and inbound lead follow-up. The DTC E-commerce Marketing Manager will lead a small team of specialists across outbound sales, email and SMS, organic social, and design.
The role will set priorities, write briefs, maintain execution standards, and connect these marketing functions into one funnel. This person will personally own marketing strategy, the promotional calendar, weekly performance reporting, conversion experiments, and creative direction from day one.
This is a hands-on leadership role when needed. When testing a new initiative or addressing a gap, this person will execute the work directly, validate the approach, and then hand it off to the appropriate team member or automate it with AI.

Own the day-to-day marketing function across paid advertising, email and SMS, organic social, promotions, site conversion, and inbound lead follow-up.
Set marketing priorities across the different functions.
Connect the different marketing channels into one funnel.
Own the overall marketing strategy.
Own the promotional calendar.
Own weekly marketing performance reporting.
Own conversion experiments.
Own creative direction.
Lead a small team of specialists across outbound sales, email and SMS, organic social, and design.
Set priorities for the team.
Write clear briefs for specialists responsible for execution.
Maintain standards across marketing execution.
Manage the inbound sales pipeline without personally making sales calls.
Own creative direction for paid advertising from day one.
Co-pilot paid campaigns with a test budget as ownership expands.
Progress toward greater paid media ownership based on established performance criteria and timelines.
Step into hands-on execution when testing a new experiment or when a marketing function has a gap.
Prove out new initiatives before handing them off to the team.
Use AI to automate initiatives when appropriate.
Provide direction and critique for creative and email execution rather than personally producing all deliverables.
Own conversion experiments.
Identify site and CRO changes needed to support marketing performance.
Clearly define and brief site and CRO requests for implementation by the development team.
Own weekly performance reporting.
Use metrics including ROAS, CAC, AOV, contribution margin, and GA4 to evaluate marketing performance.
Consider sample sizes before drawing conclusions from marketing data and experiments.
Use AI tools such as Claude or equivalent tools as part of daily work.
Use AI to support marketing execution and automation.
Apply hands-on AI experience to the role.
4–8 years of experience in e-commerce or DTC marketing.
2+ years of experience leading a small team or specialists.
Experience across paid social and search, lifecycle email and SMS, CRO, and promotions.
Higher-ticket, considered-purchase experience is a strong plus.
Klaviyo experience is preferred.
Strong full-funnel e-commerce and DTC marketing capabilities.
Strong understanding of paid social and paid search.
Strong understanding of lifecycle email and SMS marketing.
Experience with conversion rate optimization and promotions.
Fluency with ROAS, CAC, AOV, contribution margin, and GA4.
Ability to consider sample sizes before drawing conclusions from performance data.
Ability to set priorities, write clear briefs, and direct specialists.
Ability to provide creative direction and critique.
Daily experience using Claude or equivalent AI tools for real work.
Experience building something with Lovable, Replit, or Cursor is a strong plus.
Ability to make a case for a recommendation and commit once a decision has been made.
