This is a remote position.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Remote Document Control Administrative Assistant to manage and maintain accurate digital records in a virtual environment. The ideal candidate will ensure proper document tracking, version control, and compliance with company standards while supporting cross-functional teams.Maintain and update electronic document management systems (EDMS)
Control document versions, revisions, and approvals
Review documents for accuracy, formatting, and compliance standards
Organize and archive digital files according to company retention policies
Distribute documents to internal departments and external partners as needed
Track document status and maintain logs of revisions and updates
Assist with audits and compliance documentation
Prepare reports related to document control activities
Support project teams with documentation requirements
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
2+ years of administrative, records management, or document control experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace
Experience with document management systems or shared drives
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Knowledge of version control and document retention procedures
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office setup
