Department Overview: |
UW-Madison's Division of Information Technology (DolT) is the center of campus IT operations. DolT's 700 staff provide IT services and support to over 2000 faculty, 16,000 campus staff, and 43,000 students. Working closely with User Services, Systems Engineering and Operations - Specialized Infrastructure Management Services (SEO-SIMS) installs, supports, monitors and maintains infrastructure that hosts line-of-business systems for customers as well as the systems themselves. |

Position Summary/Job Duties: |
This position works closely with our full time Systems Engineering Team to help troubleshoot cases that have been escalated from the Help Desk team. Will act in conjunction with team staff to triage tickets as they are received. Will perform basic Active Directory tasks and systems monitoring under the direction of the Team Lead. Will assist with PowerShell scripting tasks as requested by team members. |
