Division 10 Construction Estimator

We’re hiring a Full-Time Construction Estimator for one of our clients, a New York City-based supplier specializing in interior doors, frames, hardware, and barn doors for general contractors. The ideal candidate has solid construction estimating experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to accurately review plans, perform takeoffs, and prepare estimates. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently. 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Review construction plans, blueprints, specifications, and project documents
  

• Perform accurate material takeoffs for bathroom accessories and partitions
  

• Identify required materials, quantities, and project requirements
  

• Prepare detailed estimates for bidding and quoting
  

• Enter project details and pricing information into the company’s quoting software
  

• Review estimates for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  

• Work independently to complete estimates within required timelines
  

• Extract and interpret key project details from construction plans and specifications
  

• Make basic estimating judgments based on project requirements and available information
  

Qualifications

• Previous construction estimating experience required
  

• Experience with Division 10 products preferred, particularly bathroom accessories and partitions
  

• Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications
  

• Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical accuracy
  

• Ability to make sound, basic judgment calls independently
  

• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  

• Proficient in cost research, data entry, and estimating/software tools
  

• Willingness and ability to learn and use the company’s quoting software
  

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern time

Rate: $8.15/hour
