The Director of Talent Acquisition serves as a key ministry and enterprise leader, guiding the strategic direction of talent acquisition across Franciscan Alliance to ensure we attract and welcome individuals called to serve our mission.

This role provides leadership across all recruitment functions through a team of recruitment leaders supporting operational, executive, and workforce partnership hiring needs, and partners with senior leaders to align talent strategies with organizational priorities and growth. The Director champions a high-performing, compassionate, and innovative talent acquisition function through modern technologies, data-driven insights, and leading practices, ensuring an exceptional and mission-centered experience for candidates and leaders alike.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Serve in a hybrid work model, with regular in-person presence at an approved Franciscan location and travel across the ministry as needed to build relationships, support leaders, and advance key talent initiatives.

  • Lead enterprise talent acquisition strategy in partnership with senior leadership, aligning workforce plans with organizational priorities, growth, and ministry needs.

  • Provide direction and oversight to a team of recruitment leaders, including Recruitment Managers, Executive Recruitment, and workforce partnership functions, ensuring consistency, accountability, and high performance across all hiring activities.

  • Shape and execute innovative recruiting strategies that attract high-quality, mission-driven talent while enhancing Franciscan Alliance’s reputation as an employer of choice.

  • Drive operational excellence across the full talent acquisition lifecycle, including workforce planning, requisition management, and hiring processes, with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and an exceptional candidate and leader experience.

  • Champion data-driven decision making, leveraging analytics, metrics, and insights to monitor performance, inform strategy, and continuously improve outcomes.

  • Advance talent acquisition capabilities by implementing modern technologies, best practices, and process improvements that support long-term organizational success.

  • Build and develop a high-performing leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and talent development.

  • Ensure strong stewardship of resources, aligning recruiting efforts with financial and operational goals while effectively prioritizing initiatives to meet evolving workforce demands.


 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Human Resources or Related - Required

  • Master's Degree Business, Human Resources or Related - Related

  • 7 years Recruiting - Required

  • 7 years HR Leadership - Preferred

  • 5 years Working with HR technology (e.g., social media, applicant tracking, LinkedIn - Preferred

  • Recruiter Academy Certified Recruiter (RACR) - The Recruiter Academy within 60 days of hire - Required
